Jill Scott Announces 2023 ‘Who Is Jill Scott? Anniversary Tour’ Dates

Published: Monday 5th Dec 2022 by Rashad

Jill Scott may be currently earning acclaim for her leading role on season 3 of BET+’s hit comedy, ‘First Wives Club,’ but now the GRAMMY winner is redirecting focus to her first love: music.

Originally scheduled to launch the Who is Jill Scott? Words and Sounds Vol. 1′ tour in 2020 to celebrate her debut album’s 20th anniversary (as we reported here), the jaunt was postponed due to the pandemic.

Now, Jilly from Philly is pressing forward with the Stateside outing and has unveiled the official list of coast-to-coast dates she’ll be bringing the critically acclaimed LP to a live stage near you.

Details inside.

Ahead of the commemorative trek’s original launch date, Scott promised fans she would be giving each of the project’s songs the live treatment.

“I’m going to be true to the album set list. I’ll do every song in the order of the album. My audience should bring their cd covers. Some may know the list by heart,” Scott shared with Billboard in 2019.

Keeping true to her word, the 20-date tour kicks off February 28, 2023, in Augusta, Georgia, and touches down in several major U.S. markets like Washington, D.C., her native Philadelphia, Nashville, Memphis, and more before wrapping up in Los Angeles in June.

See the full list of dates below.

Tickets go on sale Friday (December 9) at MissJillScott.com.
